Since this is my second time applying, I thought about how music shapes my emotions beyond just one favorite song. My favorite pieces make me feel happy and lighthearted, almost like I’m lying in a field, gazing at the sky, surrounded by fresh air and vibrant colors. For example, “Oh Rosy by Milena” gives me that sense of silken and serene. Depending on the song, the feelings can shift but what stays the same is that the music I love always sparks a strong emotional response and adds beauty to everyday life.

Last month, I shared that I play violin and piano for fun, and I’m excited to be applying again because music continues to be a big part of my life. I used to be in the orchestra for violin during middle and high school, and now I enjoy experimenting with both instruments and learning new songs in my free time. Each time I revisit music, it feels fresh it’s something I can always return to for creativity and self-expression.
