How do you analyze what’s working?
I look at a mix of numbers and feelings — Engagement over reach — comments, saves, and shares tell me if content actually resonated, not just how many people scrolled past it Comment sentiment — what are people saying? That's unfiltered audience feedback DM responses — when content moves someone to message personally, that's a strong signal Retention on video — where do people drop off? That tells me what's losing them What gets replicated — if a format or hook keeps performing, I double down on it Basically, I'm always asking — did this start a conversation or just get a view? Conversation wins every time.

What pain points do you think would convert best right now?
The pain points that would convert best right now are:
1. "I don't want to burden anyone" People are silently struggling because they don't want to be too much for others. SelfTalk is that judgment-free space.
2. "Therapy feels out of reach" Too expensive, too intimidating, too much commitment. SelfTalk lowers that barrier immediately.
3. "I don't even know what I'm feeling" A lot of people can't articulate their emotions — journaling and guided reflection helps them untangle that.
4. "I know something's off but I keep ignoring it" People are aware but avoidant. A daily, low-pressure check-in builds the habit of actually facing it.
These hit because they're relatable, stigma-free, and urgent — especially for Gen Z and Millennials who are mental-health aware but still find the first step the hardest.

Why do you find the mission of SELFTALK interesting?
What draws me to SelfTalk's mission is that it meets people exactly where they are — in that quiet, private moment before they're ready to say anything out loud. So many people hesitate to take that first step of talking about what they're going through. They don't even want to admit — even to themselves — that they're struggling. And I think that hesitation is so deeply human and so deeply misunderstood. Because here's the truth: recognizing that something is wrong doesn't make you weak. It makes you aware. And awareness is where every solution begins. SelfTalk removes the pressure of that first move. There's no judgment, no awkward silence, no fear of burdening someone. It's just you — reflecting, processing, and slowly rewriting the narrative you tell yourself every day. That's not a small thing. That's genuinely transformative. I find this mission interesting because it's not just about mental health — it's about building a relationship with yourself. And in a world where we're constantly performing for others, having a private space to just be honest is something more people need than they'd ever admit.
