1. A mini salon pop-up for students/volunteers to demo JVN products, like the instant recovery serum or dry shampoo! We could pass out free JVN minis and incorporate students/local small businesses like floral arrangers to incorporate a message of nature/sustainability.

2. We could do a hair type inclusivity activation focusing on curly products, with a mirror, free swag, a hair type/hair product compatibility quiz, cute props and samples in exchange for tagging us on social media.

As a west asian girl with wavy hair and friends of all hair textures, from pin straight to 4C, I've experienced firsthand how individualized all our hair journeys are! As my mom, sister and I all discovered we had 2C/2B waves, not just 'frizzy hair,' we went on an adventure of various curl creams, serums, leave-ins and gels to cultivate the healthy, bouncy tresses we knew were possible. But, in this journey, we continually had to sift through unsustainable or harmful ingredients like parabens. Additionally, speaking to other friends, it's become clear curlier hair and coils are less tended to in the haircare industry. Everyone deserves healthy hair with sustainable, clean ingredients, and inclusive haircare is a priority to me. As a JVN ambassador, I would love to promote diversity and sustainability by creating content around JVN's inclusive, clean haircare engaging other students.
