Interview Questions
Monk
Social / Content Producer

How do you stay current with social media trends and best practices for LinkedIn?
I treat LinkedIn as a community, not just a job site. I’m on my feed every day, actively listening to what professional and academic circles are actually talking about. This helps me see which topics are truly useful versus what’s just "fluff". When I post, I use "SMART" subject lines, making sure every caption is specific and relevant so it catches a busy person’s eye and gives them a logical reason to engage with Monk.

What experience do you have creating engaging video content for professional audiences?
I’ve been editing videos since I was a teenager, so the technical "nuts and bolts" are second nature to me. In my recent non-profit work, I used those skills to turn complex global issues into visual stories that really hit home with people. At Monk, I want to ditch the corporate jargon and find the "human spark" in your technology. I believe professional content works best when it stops listing features and starts showing how the platform actually makes a customer’s life easier.
MAGICSHOT
Social Media Trend Scout & Account Manager (TikTok + Instagram)

Describe your daily routine using TikTok and Instagram.
I'd say my routine isn't just about screen time (lol), it’s about somewhat living in the digital conversation. TikTok is the first thing I open in the morning because it allows me to catch the world’s "human spark" before the day even starts. By interacting with trends during my breaks and sharing content with friends, I am constantly researching what creates a real bond and makes people want to move from being passive viewers to active participants. This constant immersion helps me visualise emerging patterns and identify the "killer headlines" that will stop a user's scroll
