Share a few of the most impactful traditions as it relates to March Madness on your campus?
At UM, March Madness is definitely a time of high energy and school spirit, with students coming together to support the basketball team and enjoy the tournament atmosphere, especially with recent years success of making it to the final 4. One of the most impactful traditions is the watch parties hosted on campus, such as the Rathskeller, and going to popular bars nearby such as YardHouse. Which can be great for having uber credit to get too. The university also encourages spirit by hosting pep rallies and featuring appearances from the school mascot, Sebastian the Ibis. (With the hope that we get to the March Madness)These traditions foster a strong sense of community and provide a great opportunity for Uber One to engage with students in a fun and meaningful way.

What groups, organizations, or communities do you lead or play a significant role in?
Being a senior at the University of Miami, I am involved in Zeta Tau Alpha, where I can play a significant role in organizing events! My previous experience as a brand ambassador for a drink brand allowed me to build relationships with the chair of events within our sorority and learn how to promote a product effectively on campus. I take pride in connecting with peers and creating excitement around brands, which would be valuable in representing Uber One!

If Uber were to host an activation on campus during March Madness, what would be your best idea for the brand to uniquely engage students?
For March Madness, I would suggest an “Uber One Hoops Challenge” activation, where students could participate in a series of basketball-themed challenges, like free-throw contests or a pop-a-shot competition, to win great prizes like Uber One memberships, ride credits, or exclusive merchandise. To enhance engagement, we could incorporate a social media challenge encouraging students to share their participation using a branded hashtag, boosting visibility across campus. Additionally, partnering with popular campus organizations, like greek-life and student sports clubs, could help increase turnout and excitement. Having these interactive stations showcasing Uber Eats with food samples from local favorites would also draw interest and promote the brand’s convenience. My experience with campus activations has taught me the importance of creating a fun and rewarding experience that resonates with students, and this concept aligns perfectly with Uber One’s offerings!!
