I have extensive experience creating engaging short-form content for TikTok and Instagram, particularly in the skincare space while working as a marketing intern for a Korean skincare company. In this role, I focused on producing visually compelling videos that highlighted product textures, demonstrated application, and educated viewers on ingredients and routines. My style emphasizes clean, minimal aesthetics with soft lighting, close-up product shots, and quick, satisfying transitions to capture attention in the first few seconds. What platforms do you think are best for promoting video content and why?

I think TikTok and Instagram are the best platforms for promoting video content because both prioritize discoverability and make it easy for content to quickly gain traction. TikTok’s algorithm pushes short, engaging videos to wide audiences, even for newer creators, while Instagram offers multiple formats—Reels, Stories, and longer posts—that allow for both quick hits and more in-depth content. They’re also platforms where people are already primed to watch, create, and share videos, which makes them ideal for building visibility and engagement.
