How do you stay on top of TikTok trends and incorporate them into your content?
I stay on top of TikTok trends by actively engaging with the platform every day—scrolling through the For You Page, following beauty creators, and keeping an eye on trending sounds, hashtags, and editing styles. I also pay attention to TikTok’s Creator Center and trend reports, which give insights into what’s gaining traction. Once I identify a trend that fits my niche, I adapt it to beauty content in a way that feels authentic. For example, I might use a trending audio to show a quick before-and-after makeup look or apply a viral transition to a skincare routine. By blending popular formats with my own style, I’m able to stay relevant while still producing content that feels original and aligned with my audience.

Describe your experience creating BEAUTY TikTok UGC content. What’s one of your most successful videos?
I have wide-ranging experience creating beauty TikTok UGC content as I focus intently on skincare, on makeup, and on product evaluations. I approach each video intending that it be informative and visually appealing so it feels authentic and relatable to viewers. I’ve learned throughout time how to sound trendy, transition smoothly, and tell stories for attention capture during TikTok's critical first few seconds. Good lighting also is my priority with clear demonstrations. Viewers must have trust since honest opinions promote true connection.
My most popular videos included a skincare routine within them that showed all of the benefits of using a new moisturizer. I showed all of the texture I shared all of the benefits simply easily and I walked viewers through my experience instead of just the product. That video gained thousands upon thousands of views also hundreds as well as hundreds of likes too. The video did set off of a conversation within the comments by people interested in perhaps trying the product as well. The brand did then re-share it so the expansion of its reach was even further at this time. I think that it did prevail because it mixed up learning with fun since my voice kept stuff quite real
