Tell us about a time you turned a regular night into something memorable. What was your role in making it happen?
Turning your 20 birthday into a memorable, intentional night while paying for everything yourself is a huge accomplishment—it’s a testament to your creativity, resourcefulness, and determination. What stands out most is how you prioritized meaning over expense, proving that unforgettable moments don’t require a big budget, just a clear vision and a lot of heart.Your role in making it happen was multifaceted—you were the designer, curator, and host, carefully selecting every detail to reflect your values and personality. By opting for thrifted decor, plant-based food, and DIY touches, you created a space that felt authentic and personal without breaking the bank. The Polaroid station, collaborative art project, and curated playlist weren’t just fun activities; they were ways to foster connection and leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Tell us about a piece of content you've created that you're most proud of — what was it, why did you make it, and what happened when you posted it?
One piece of content I’m particularly proud of is a shopping vlog I edited for a sustainable fashion brand, created to showcase their latest summer collection in a way that felt like a day out with a friend—effortless, stylish, and full of personality. I wanted to make it feel authentic and aspirationalrather than a traditional ad, so I focused on natural lighting, candid moments, and a soft color palette that matched the brand’s earthy, summery vibe. The vlog followed a student ambassador as she explored a local boutique, tried on outfits, and shared why she loved the brand’s mission of sustainability and affordability. I layered in upbeat music, smooth transitions, and text overlays to highlight key details like fabric sources and pricing, making it both informative and engaging. When I posted it on Instagram and TikTok, the response was incredible—the video surpassed the brand’s expectations with a 25% higher engagement rate than their average posts, and the ambassador’s followers loved the relatable, behind-the-scenes feel. It even sparked conversations in the comments about sustainable fashion, and the brand later told me it drove a 15% increase in website traffic from the ambassador’s audience. What made me proudest was seeing how the authenticity and beauty of the edit resonated with viewers—it didn’t just promote a product; it told a story that made sustainability feel cool and accessible. I think that’s the power of content done right: it doesn’t just sell, it connects.

How would you engage students at an event to promote a new brand?
To engage students at an event for a new brand, design an interactive and visually appealing booth that reflects your brand’s identity—think bold signage, a custom backdrop with your logo and a fun hashtag, and photo-worthy elements like a DIY station or AR filter. Offer free samples, quick games (like spin-the-wheel or trivia), and social media challenges to create excitement and encourage participation, while leveraging student influencers to amplify your presence. Use live updates, user-generated content, and geotagging to spread the word on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and follow up post-event with thank-you emails, exclusive discounts, and feedback surveysto keep the momentum going. Keep activities fast-paced, authentic, and shareable, offering real value like branded merch or limited-time offers to drive engagement and make your brand unforgettable.
