Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience
I used to have a sales marketing job as a campus manager for a company that sold customized apparel to fraternities and sororities and loved it! I would contact the organizations apparel chairs and convince them to try out our samples and switch over to our company for big events such as recruitment, big little ceremonies, and sports tournaments! This was all about selling why our company would be more beneficial and show my success from other organizations. It was all about showcasing my design skills and how fast I can have turnaround time for designs back, how fast orders could be delivered and held in hand, and overall the creativity and freedom the chairs had for customizing and designing their merchandise! I learned that it’s all about how you market yourself and what YOU can bring to the table, but also showing what you personally love about what you’re selling and why you support it personally too because making the buyer feel comfortable and like they’re trusting a friend instead of a sales associate is so important!

What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?
I usually get my inspiration off of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest! I have a pretty creative eye for things and love to stay on top of marketing trends and especially love innovative content that grabs audiences attentions!

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?
A piece of content I made that got more engagement than usual would be this reel I created for Café Lola, and it was a cute montage video showcasing the making of a strawberry shortcake waffle, nothing too different than what I’d normally produce but I think what made it more appealing to our audience was the trendy sounds and audios used behind the video because it was such a big moment in time and the quality of the content. It was very clear, concise, quick, and catered to our audiences attention span all while being trendy, aesthetic, and on-brand!
