Have you ever sold something online or in person? Share an example, big or small. Talk about what you learned from that selling experience

Yes—I’ve sold thrifted and upcycled clothing pieces online through Instagram and Depop. From that experience, I learned the importance of presentation, clear communication, and building trust with customers. Small details—like fast responses, honest descriptions, and neat packaging—made buyers more likely to recommend me or shop again. It also taught me that selling is as much about creating a good experience as it is about the product itself.

What's your video creation process? How do you usually get your inspirations?

My process is pretty spontaneous. I follow trends, share quick college advice, and create 8–15 second videos that capture pure joy. Inspiration usually comes from what’s happening around me—campus life, conversations with friends, or trending sounds and ideas I see online. I like to keep my content light, relatable, and something people want to share.

Tell me about a piece of content you made that got more engagement than usual. What do you think made it successful?

One of my most engaging pieces of content was an Instagram Reel I created highlighting a campus fashion event at Clark Atlanta University. Instead of just posting photos, I combined short video clips, trending audio, quick transitions, and captions that told a mini story about the event—from behind-the-scenes preparation to the final runway walk. What made it successful was that it felt authentic and immersive. I tagged the models, designers, and student organizations involved, which encouraged them to share it with their own networks. I also posted it within 24 hours of the event, keeping it fresh and relevant while excitement was still high. The combination of relatable storytelling, strong visuals, and community tagging resulted in significantly higher shares, comments, and saves compared to my usual posts. I believe the key to the engagement was that it wasn’t just about the event—it captured the energy and pride of our community, making viewers feel like they were part of the moment.
