One example of my own content that has done well is my outfit inspiration videos where I edit multiple outfit photos together into one cohesive visual. I take different looks and compile them into a single video so viewers can quickly see color schemes, silhouettes, and styling ideas in one place. These videos tend to get strong views and saves because they’re easy to watch, visually satisfying, and give people quick inspiration they can screenshot or recreate.

One successful campaign I worked on was creating content for Dove deodorant, where I filmed honest, day-in-the-life videos showing how it fit into my real college routine. I focused on situations like getting ready for class, walking around campus in the heat, and going out with friends to highlight its long-lasting wear without making it feel like an ad. The content performed well because it felt relatable and genuine, and viewers responded positively to seeing the product used in realistic, everyday scenarios rather than a staged commercial-style video.

I stay updated by actively using TikTok and Instagram daily and paying attention to what sounds, formats, and hooks are trending on my For You page. I also follow creators and brand accounts in fashion and beauty to see how they adapt trends in creative ways. When I notice something performing well, I test it in my own style and track what gets the most engagement so I can adjust my strategy.
