I would make them feel like they are at a disadvantage without it: Emphasizing specific features of the app or the communities it attracts will make potential users feel they are missing out if they don't join.

Walk us through your most successful TikTok or social post - what made it perform well?
While it's not the most conventional place to film a TikTok, my most successful social post is a video of me in my college laundry room lipsyncing to Sabrina Carpenter's song "GoGo Juice" at 84K views. I believe that the relatability of the lyrics along with the interesting location brought about its success, and lately my most successful videos have to do with appreciation of certain songs or the experience of being a college student in LA.
