Any examples of you having good organization / communication?
One example of my organization and communication skills working hand-in-hand was during the planning of our sorority’s intramural teams and events. As a leader, I was responsible for coordinating game schedules, managing group chats, and making sure every player knew when and where to be—while also keeping the energy fun and inclusive. I created weekly reminders, managed sub lists for injured players, and even led pre-game huddles to keep everyone motivated. My ability to clearly communicate expectations while staying organized behind the scenes helped our team show up consistently, feel unified, and truly enjoy the experience. Another example was helping plan the “Olympics” at a StuMo retreat, where I worked with others to create teams, plan event logistics, communicate timeframes, and make sure the flow of the games was smooth. It required a lot of moving parts, but clear planning and consistent communication made it a success!

Can you walk me through your process for creating engaging social media content?
My process starts with understanding the purpose and audience of the content. I ask myself: What message am I trying to share, and how can I make it relatable and valuable to the people I’m trying to reach? Next, I move into planning and concept development. I brainstorm creative ideas that align with the brand’s voice and aesthetic—whether that’s a trending format, a story-driven reel, or an eye-catching graphic. I also outline the key visual and written elements I want to include. Then comes content creation. I film or design with intention, paying attention to lighting, composition, sound, and clarity. I use tools like CapCut, Canva, or InShot to edit the content in a clean, on-brand way. I make sure to keep it short, engaging, and value-driven—often with a hook in the first few seconds. Finally, I focus on caption writing and optimization. I write captions that spark curiosity or conversation and include relevant hashtags, music, or CTAs that boost engagement. After posting, I monitor analytics to learn what’s working and how I can improve going forward.
