How do you research and test different hooks for the video?
When researching hooks, I start by analyzing my target audience’s needs and pain points—for example, what challenges students face during back-to-school season. I look at trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts to see which formats and opening lines are driving engagement. Then, I brainstorm several hook variations (question-based, problem/solution, relatable scenario, or surprising fact) and script them out.For testing, I film multiple versions of the same video with different hooks and compare the performance (watch time, click-through, and engagement). By tracking which intro retains viewers the longest, I can quickly identify what resonates and refine future content.
