Interview Questions
W Labs
Influencer & Community Marketing Intern

What influencers should W Labs work with in 2025?
For 2025, W Labs should work with influencers who resonate with college students and emphasize lifestyle, fitness, and authenticity. Campus lifestyle influencers, like Alix Earle and Kylan Darnell, connect directly with students through relatable content, while fitness and wellness influencers such as Deniz Horuz and Tazmin Mohamed can showcase the energy benefits of the product in active, health-focused routines. Micro-influencers like April Denning and Joselyn C. Calderon are valuable because of their high engagement rates and authentic voices, which make students more likely to trust their recommendations. Additionally, student-athletes and campus leaders, including Isaiah Harris and Lia Katoa, can leverage their peer influence to promote WIP Energy Pouches during sports events and campus activities. Partnering with these influencers through sampling events, social media challenges, and authentic content sharing will help WIP Energy integrate naturally into student lifestyles and build strong brand awareness on campus.

Do you have experience in influencer Marketing or Social Media? If so explain what projects you've worked on?
While I haven’t worked as a professional influencer, I do have experience using social media and word-of-mouth to promote events, fundraisers, and community initiatives. For example, I helped organize and promote a T-shirt fundraiser during COVID-19 and community events like the Terry Fox Run, where we relied heavily on social media to build awareness and drive participation. On campus, I’ve promoted pub nights, intramural sports, and student activities through Instagram stories, group chats, and posters, which taught me how to reach people where they already are. These experiences gave me a solid understanding of how to create engaging content, tailor messaging for different audiences, and generate excitement around an event or cause—the same skills needed for influencer marketing and brand promotion.
