I’d encourage saving by selling the outcome, not the process. Money feels intimidating because it’s overcomplicated. Instead of talking budgets or rules, I’d connect saving to something they already want: freedom, travel, security, and options. Saving isn’t a restriction, but it’s how you give future-you choices. I'd make the language digestible and format it so simply that a 5-year-old would be able to understand the importance of saving their lemonade stand money. When saving feels like progress toward a goal instead of a sacrifice, people actually want to do it.
