My approach is to combine both feedback and performance data to understand what’s working and what isn’t. I look at key metrics like watch time, retention, and engagement to see where viewers are dropping off or staying engaged. Then I adjust specific elements such as the hook, pacing, captions, or structure based on those insights. I also take direct feedback from clients or viewers seriously and apply it to future content to continuously improve results while keeping the content aligned with the intended style and message.

When you get a creative brief, how do you make it feel authentic?
When I receive a creative brief, I first break it down into the core message and the target audience so I understand what the content is really trying to achieve. Then I translate that into a more natural, human way of speaking or storytelling instead of following it too rigidly. I focus on making it feel relatable—using real-life tone, simple language, and pacing that doesn’t feel scripted—while still making sure the key message and goals from the brief are clearly delivered.

What’s your process for coming up with hooks that stop people from scrolling?
I start by identifying what would make the viewer feel something immediately—usually curiosity, relatability, or a clear benefit. Then I craft a strong first line or visual within the first 1–3 seconds using patterns like a bold statement, a relatable situation, or a question that makes them want to keep watching. I also study high-performing content to see what hooks are working, then adapt those ideas to fit the message and audience while keeping it natural and authentic.
