what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
I’d lead sampling by tapping into spaces where beauty conversations are already happening, like Beauty Bird Philly meetings at Temple. During meetings, I’d bring ColourPop products for group try-ons, swatching sessions, letting members test formulas together and share honest reactions in real time. That peer-to-peer setting makes the experience feel authentic and pretty low-pressure. To extend it beyond campus, I’d encourage members to take samples into their own everyday or once in awhile routines. Maybe getting ready to gout out with the gals, filming GRWMs, or passing products along to friends, which naturally creates a word-of-mouth and organic social content without making it feel like a push.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I’d engage my audience by making ColourPop feel like a fun, everyday part of campus life rather than something being pushed. On campus, I’d lead casual sampling efforts by partnering with student orgs and clubs for low-pressure moments like getting ready for formals, game days, or events—letting people try products naturally and share their own thoughts. For TikTok, I’d focus on authentic, trendy content like quick GRWMs, first-impression try-ons, and “what I actually reach for” videos that feature both new launches and staple products. Keeping the content honest and relatable helps build trust and creates organic buzz while showing how easy and affordable ColourPop is.

what do you love about colourpop?
I love how accessible Colourpop is, being available in Ulta and the price range being what it is, is so refreshing, especially when a lot of brands seem overprice or exclusive nowadays. Over the years, the brand has stayed affordable while it stays up to trend, and as a consumer, I love how the brand feels fun and low-pressure.
