Pick any Swishvo provider type (doula, midwife, chaplain, herbalist, grief counselor, etc.) and pitch one short-form video concept you’d make for them. Include the hook, the visual, and the caption.

Provider type: Doula Hook (first 1-2 seconds, on-screen text + spoken): 'Things no one tells you about hiring a doula...' Visual: The doula sitting in a cozy, warm-lit space (couch, soft blanket, maybe a cup of tea), talking directly to camera in a casual, friend-to-friend tone — not a studio setup, more like a voice memo turned into a video. Cut to quick text overlays/B-roll moments (a hand on a pregnant belly, a birth plan notebook, a comforting hug gesture) as she lists 2-3 quick myth-busting points. Caption: 'A doula isn't just for the birth — it's for the questions you're too embarrassed to Google at 2am 🌙 If you're navigating pregnancy and want someone in your corner, Swishvo connects you with providers like me. Link in bio 💛 #doula #pregnancyjourney #holisticcare' The idea is to lead with curiosity/myth-busting (which performs well for educational wellness content), keep the visual intimate and low-production so it feels authentic rather than staged, and let the Swishvo mention feel like a natural resource rather than an ad insert.

A provider comments on our post: ‘I tried a platform like this before and got burned. Why should I trust y’all?’ Draft your response.

Totally understand that hesitation — that's such a common experience, and it makes sense to be cautious before trying again. We can't promise we're perfect, but we built Swishvo because we saw the same gaps you're probably describing, and we're working closely with our provider community to actually fix them rather than just promise they're fixed. If you're open to it, we'd love to hear more about what went wrong before — it genuinely helps us build something better, and we're happy to walk you through how things work here so you can decide for yourself if it's different. No pressure either way

Show us one brand on TikTok or Instagram whose voice you’d want Swishvo’s to feel like, and one we should absolutely not sound like. Why?

One brand I'd want Swishvo's voice to feel like is Clue (the period-tracking app). They've built a tone that's warm, educational, and completely judgment-free around topics that are often stigmatized — explaining things plainly without being clinical or condescending, and treating the audience as smart adults who just want real information. That feels like the right energy for 'ancestral and holistic care,' which is also often misunderstood or dismissed, and benefits from content that normalizes and educates rather than markets. One I'd want to avoid is the typical big-insurance-company tone — overly corporate, jargon-heavy, and impersonal, where every post feels like it was written by a legal team rather than a person. That's the opposite of community-building, and for a brand built around trust and personal care (doulas, midwives, grief counselors), sounding like a faceless institution would undercut the whole point.
