Well, being from a somewhat unknown university, I emailed professors from the best of the best universities to get to learn from them, I really needed to write incredibly specific emails, this required a lot of attention to detail since each professor would have a different way to contact, a different research plan, I ended up going through close to 500 papers in order to find interesting questions to ask in my emails in order to grab their attention. On top of this, I am an artist too, all my art pieces require a large amount of attention to detail. It's not about it being pleasing to the eye, it's about me knowing that I did it right!
