What do you think most brands are doing wrong in regards to their content strategy?

Most brands are still hiring older, more traditional content creators and marketing positions. I think brands need to hire younger individuals to work on content that is geared towards GenZ and interactive.

What is one strategy Home From College can use to grow to even more student users in Q1 2023?

The biggest need of Home From College is expanding their outreach. I found H\FC from a TikTok search but I do not think many people know about it. Having a traveling representative that makes trips to different colleges would expand knowledge of the company. I also think H\FC needs a larger social media and media presence. It would be very valuable to partner with popular influencers, such as Alix Earle or Darcy McQueeny.

Share a time when you've been able to mobilize a group of people around a product, service, or cause you feel passionate about?

In high school I was the leader of Feminist Discussion Group (FDG) for three years. I am most proud of the action I took with FDG during the time of the 2020 election. Following Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death, I felt discouraged by my lack of ability to make an impact without being able to vote. At that moment, I decided to stop wishing I could do something, and instead, to start fighting for my beliefs. I joined millions of Americans in writing letters to eligible voters in swing states, urging them to use their right to vote and organized a FDG meeting to discuss ways we could take action. With the help of over 50 attendees, FDG was able to complete over 300 letters. Following this success, I continued to organize meetings weekly in this stressful time. While I have never enjoyed public speaking, I continued holding meetings to provide an outlet for my worried peers. I have felt a sense of purpose by being a leader of FDG. Following the meetings I organized during this time, I received feedback from dozens of freshmen through seniors, along with teachers and my school administration about how grateful they were that I was speaking up.
