What is your experience with organizing or attending college events?

I have experience both organizing and attending college events through my involvement in campus organizations and social groups. Being active in my sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, I’ve helped plan and promote events ranging from philanthropy fundraisers to social gatherings and themed events. This has involved coordinating with teams, promoting events on social media, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly the day of the event.I also regularly attend campus events, which has helped me understand what attracts students and what makes an event successful. Seeing what students respond to,from good promotion to fun experiences,has given me a strong sense of how to create events that people are excited to attend.

How would you promote a new blow dry promotion on campus?

I would promote a new blow-dry promotion on campus by combining social media marketing with in-person campus engagement. First, I would create visually appealing content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok showing quick transformations, before-and-after blowouts, and “get ready with me” style videos that highlight the results. Posting during key moments—like before game days, sorority events, or formals—would help reach students when they are most likely to want their hair done.I would also collaborate with student influencers, especially those involved in sororities, clubs, or campus organizations, to try the promotion and share their experience. Offering referral discounts or “bring a friend” deals could encourage word-of-mouth marketing. On campus, I would promote the offer with flyers, QR codes linking directly to booking, and pop-up mini styling events where students could learn about the promotion or receive quick touch-ups.By combining social media buzz, influencer partnerships, and on-campus visibility, the promotion could quickly spread through the student community and drive bookings.
