How do you approach developing a strategy for marketing communications?
When developing a strategy for marketing communications, I start by understanding the goals—whether it's raise awareness, drive engagement, or promote a specific product/event. I research the target audience to shape the message & choose the best platforms to reach them. From there, I build a content plan with clear messaging, consistent visuals, & a timeline for rollout. I also make sure there’s flexibility to adjust based on performance/feedback. The key for me is creating communication that’s not just informative, but also authentic & engaging.

What technology tools/apps do you have experience in for marketing?
I have experience using a variety of platforms for marketing, including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, & Snapchat. For content creation/editing, I work with Adobe tools—specifically Illustrator & Photoshop—as well as Canva, iMovie, Picsart, & CapCut. These tools help me design engaging visuals, edit video/photo content, & tailor posts for each platform’s unique style & audience.

Can you share an experience where you saw significant results from a marketing campaign you led/were a part of?
One successful social media campaign I was part of supported a fundraising marathon for children with cancer & leukemia. I helped create & collaborate on visual content, including publicity designs that used inclusive, heart-centered icons to symbolize unity & support. We tailored the content for each platform & encouraged shares, donations, and participation. The messaging really resonated, resulting in strong community engagement & a great turnout at the event. It was a powerful reminder of how meaningful design & intentional messaging can mobilize people & drive real impact for a cause.
