I would create a short-form video that shows how I’m actively building my portfolio as a student using real projects I’ve worked on, such as music videos, podcast edits, and graphic design.The video would start with a simple hook like “what my portfolio actually looks like as a student,” and then walk through how I take different pieces of work and turn them into something cohesive and presentable. I’d show the transition from scattered projects to a clean, organized portfolio, using Adobe Acrobat to compile everything into a format I can confidently share. The focus would be on the process rather than just the final result, so it feels authentic and relatable, while still demonstrating the level of effort and organization that goes into preparing for real opportunities. Overall, the goal is to show that you don’t need to wait until everything is perfect to start building a strong, professional portfolio.
