what are two BIG MOMENTS ON CAMPUS THAT BUMBLE BFF SHOULD BE APART OF THIS UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR? (think big games, campus festivals, etc)

Arguably one of the most anticipated events at UCLA is the annual USC vs. UCLA rivalry football game. The week leading up to it, Beat ‘SC Week, is filled with daily events, energy, and school spirit. As a Bumble BFF College Community Leader, I would love to be a part of the school pride; however, rather than just adding on to the friendly competition, Bumble BFF could take a unique approach by promoting friendships across campuses, particularly between USC and UCLA students. For instance, we could create a campaign encouraging Bruins and Trojans to make cross-campus connections through Bumble BFF!

An equally exciting event is the Westwood Village Block Party, an event hosted at the beginning of the school year. With games, activities, food and thousands of new and returning students, it’s the perfect place to introduce Bumble BFF. With an eye-catching booth or simply just being present to connect with students and promote the app, we could hand out fun merchandise and inform people about Bumble BFF and its purpose. This would be a perfect first impression and a meaningful way to help students start the year by making genuine friends through Bumble BFF!

How would you promote Bumble's values in your community as a Brand Ambassador?

I carry Bumble’s values of confidence, integrity, equality, kindness, and respect with me everyday. On a college campus, however, where people are constantly navigating new experiences, pushing themselves out of their comfort zone, and forming new connections, these values are especially important. As a Bumble BFF College Community Leader, to foster these values I would prioritize creating environments where people feel safe and supported.

I would promote Bumble’s values in my community by encouraging genuine friendships and growth. Whether through organizing events, posting on social media, or simply prioritizing these values in my daily interactions, I would ensure to amplify these values. Since students spend most of their time either on social media or on campus, I would use both to my advantage to market Bumble BFF and its values.

To build confidence, I'm extremely excited to create motivating “Day in My Life”  or “Come to Class at UCLA With me” videos once I’m on campus, where I can naturally incorporate Bumble BFF, like “Day in My Life as a Bumble BFF Ambassador.” To promote integrity, I’d love to post content like “Tips for Making Friends in College” or compile short videos of students sharing their positive experiences on Bumble BFF. Outside of social media, I’d take genuine interest in creating aesthetically pleasing flyers and hosting inclusive events around campus to ensure that Bumble is reaching people equally. This would not only promote the app, but also help me explore new spots and connect with other students. When it comes to kindness and respect, I would lead by example, treating everyone I meet with care and empathy.

All in all, I’d focus on what people actually want, which is real friendships supported by comfortable environments. I’m incredibly excited about the chance to be involved in something that creates a more connected campus community and helps people build real friendships!
