what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
A creative way I would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus is by turning them into interactive, experiential moments that feel fun and shareable rather than just handing out products. On campus, I could set up pop-up mini events at high-traffic spots like student lounges, study areas, or organization meetings, where students can try the products while engaging in quick, themed challenges or polls, like “pick your favorite shade” or “create a look in 5 minutes.” This makes sampling social, memorable, and tied to an experience. Off campus, I would partner with local coffee shops, gyms, or other student-frequented spots to create branded sampling stations or mini giveaways, making the product accessible in everyday routines. I would also encourage user-generated content by having students share their try-on looks or reactions on social media, turning the sampling into an organic online buzz. Overall, the goal is to make every sample feel like part of a larger, interactive experience, combining convenience, creativity, and shareability, so students are excited to try, talk about, and post about the brand.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage my audience to promote ColourPop products by creating authentic, relatable content that showcases how the products fit into everyday life and self-expression. I would focus on short-form videos and tutorials highlighting new launches, favorite shades, and creative looks, showing how easy it is to experiment with ColourPop’s trend-forward yet affordable products. I would also incorporate interactive elements like polls, “which shade should I try?” challenges, and step-by-step transformations to invite audience participation. Sharing honest reviews, swatches, and real-time reactions would make the content feel trustworthy and relatable, especially for Gen Z and makeup enthusiasts. Additionally, I would leverage personal storytelling, showing how ColourPop has grown with me from my first makeup purchases to my current looks, to create a genuine connection and inspire my audience to explore their own creativity with the brand.
