New Brew's brand involves tapping into nuanced cultural conversations. Can you describe a time when you navigated sensitive or complex topics in your creative work, and how did you ensure your approach was authentic and resonated appropriately?

While I haven’t worked on a large-scale campaign tackling sensitive cultural topics yet, I’m very intentional about how messaging impacts people. For example, when I was building my marketing portfolio, I made sure the brands and campaigns I chose—like Rhode Beauty and Kulfi—reflected inclusivity and a deeper connection with community. I researched how these brands talk about identity, self-expression, and culture, and tried to bring that same authenticity into my creative ideas. I believe strong marketing isn’t just about selling—it’s about telling the right story in the right way.

Tell us about a time you took initiative beyond your typical responsibilities to drive results. What motivated you, and what was the outcome? -- Are you 21 years or older?

I am currently a undergrad student trying to gain internship experience, and while it has been a difficult job market I decided to create opportunities rather then wait for them. I recently started a miniseries on my LinkedIn that breaks down brand strategies and analyzes what brands got right. I am also working on mock campaigns to show my experience through my work. Previously in my retail work experience I always took the initiative to think like the customer. This allowed me to curate an experience uniquely for them and helped my store increase in sales goal. I think the best brands give good experience when they place themselves in the customers shoes. I am 23 years old.

How would you approach developing a comprehensive digital marketing campaign for a unique product like New Brew's non-alcoholic beverages?

One campaign that I can think of from the top of my head would be called "Feel the buzz, not the booze". With warmer weather coming up people tend host parties with alcohol. However, New Brew can market itself as an alternative by utilizing social media post that gives different recipes, skits, and non alcohol drinker testimonials. There also can be paid ads on instagram with a catchy slogan or video ads that show non drinkers don't have to miss out on summer fun at parties hence the "feel the buzz not the booze".
