Can you share examples of similar street-style content or reaction videos you’ve created or loved by someone else?

One example of street-style content I admire is the "First Time Trying [Insert Food]" reaction videos, where creators capture people’s genuine, unscripted reactions to trying new or unusual foods. A great example is Buzzfeed’s "Worth It" series, where the hosts go around trying different versions of the same food and capture reactions from people in casual, street-level settings. The authenticity and surprise in these reactions make the content feel real and relatable, which is what I aim for when creating similar reaction videos. Another example I love is YouTube’s “Hot Ones” series, where celebrities try increasingly spicy chicken wings. The raw, unfiltered reactions to the heat create memorable, engaging moments that keep viewers hooked. These types of videos show how powerful genuine reactions can be when paired with a high-quality production.

What is your approach to keeping street-level interactions genuine and engaging while maintaining high-quality production standards?

To keep street-level interactions genuine and engaging while maintaining high-quality production standards, I’d focus on creating a relaxed atmosphere where people feel comfortable being themselves. I’d use portable, handheld equipment to capture spontaneous, authentic reactions, ensuring that the video feels natural. At the same time, I’d pay close attention to audio and lighting, using portable mics and adjusting lighting to keep visuals clear and professional. In post-production, I’d edit to highlight the best moments, ensuring the final product maintains a polished yet authentic feel that resonates with the audience.

How do you plan to capture authentic reactions while showcasing Panjiri to individuals?

To capture authentic reactions while showcasing Panjiri, I’d focus on creating a natural and engaging environment. I’d invite individuals to try the dish without too much preparation or expectation, allowing them to experience it in a genuine, unfiltered way. To make the moment more authentic, I’d film their first bite and ask open-ended questions like, "What’s the first thing that comes to mind?" or "How does it compare to other snacks you've had?" I’d ensure the setting feels casual and fun, encouraging honest reactions. The goal is to showcase their true emotions—surprise, enjoyment, or curiosity—without scripting the experience, letting the food speak for itself.
