What are 2 consumer apps you love and why do you think they’ve gone viral or built strong user habits?
TikTok has gone viral because it employs people from every background, resulting in a diverse target audience. The short-form content that is allowed keeps people with short attention spans (the majority of the population) interested. Linkedin has built strong user habits because its simulateneously allows people to network with friends and family, it also reaches out to verified professional connections. It allows people to keep track of their own professional progress and find related oppurtunities in one place. It is a specialized place, which makes it simple for people to find ideas of what to post or the type of content they should be sharing.
