On a personal level, I have made sales online prior. I personally sell clothing on platforms like depop. One thing I have learned from selling online is that the quality of the image and how you set up the product can really make or break a sale. The attractiveness of the staged product, lighting or photo quality can create more appeal for buyers and is also what initially catches their eye. I would apply this same knowledge when producing content and marketing for your product.
