How would you incentivize and persuade peers on campus to enter a secret hulu contest?
I’d leverage the many communities I’m part of on campus—my sorority, D9 life, campus jobs, and student orgs—to spread the word about the contest in authentic ways. Each space gives me a different platform: in my sorority and D9 network, I’d use group chats and events to create excitement and spark FOMO; at my campus jobs, I’d casually promote it to coworkers and visiting students; and in student orgs, I’d pitch it as a fun, exclusive chance that only “insiders” know about. Because I’m connected across so many circles, I can adapt my approach—whether that’s through social media buzz, face-to-face conversations, or small incentives like Hulu-inspired study break snacks. My goal would be to make it feel like a secret opportunity traveling by word of mouth through trusted networks, which makes students more likely to join in.
