Describe a time you successfully persuaded someone to try a new product or idea.

As an Uber Shuttles ambassador, I had the opportunity to introduce the service to students around NYU who were unfamiliar with it. One student I spoke with was skeptical about trying Uber Shuttles because they were used to taking the subway and assumed it would be more expensive.

Instead of simply promoting the service, I asked about their typical commute and explained how Uber Shuttles could provide a more direct and comfortable ride during peak hours.

I also showed them the route options and pricing through the app to demonstrate that it was often comparable to other transportation options. After seeing how it could simplify their commute, they decided to try it for their next trip.

Later, they told me they appreciated the convenience and planned to use it again, reinforcing how personalized explanations can help people feel confident trying something new.
