How would you most effectively share your unique link?
“I’d focus on distributing my unique link where my target audience already spends time, and pair it with a clear reason to click.First, I’d leverage my existing networks — like school communities, MUN groups, and WhatsApp/Instagram circles — since I already have credibility there. Instead of just dropping the link, I’d frame it around value, like inviting people to something specific or exclusive.Second, I’d create short-form content around it — like quick reels or stories showing what the platform offers — and naturally integrate the link through bio, DMs, or swipe-ups.Third, I’d use direct outreach — personally messaging people who I know would be interested, because 1:1 conversion rates are usually much higher than mass posting. And finally, I’d experiment — track which channels bring the most sign-ups and double down on those, whether it’s group chats, Instagram, or word-of-mouth.

Do you have experience collecting sign ups before? (Either for a club, organization, or another GIG) Tell us about it!
“Yes, I’ve had direct experience driving sign-ups, especially during my time as the Secretary General for SOMUN 2025.We had to bring in over 500 delegates from 30+ schools, so registrations were a core focus. I worked closely with the marketing and outreach teams to design a strategy that combined school outreach, social media promotion, and partnerships. We reached out to schools directly, leveraged existing MUN networks, and created urgency through early deadlines and consistent updates. I also helped streamline the registration process to make sure there was minimal friction, especially after we faced issues like our website crashing during peak sign-up time.Beyond that, as Student Government President, I’ve also driven participation and sign-ups for large-scale events like Oakfest, where we had over 3000 attendees. That involved coordinating with different teams, promoting events across multiple channels, and ensuring high engagement. So overall, my experience has been less about just collecting sign-ups and more about building systems and momentum that consistently drive people to take action.”
