How would you engage audiences for art?
To engage audiences for art, I’d treat the account like an evolving digital gallery. I’d use a mix of short-form videos showing art in everyday spaces, mood-based curation (e.g., “art that feels like Sunday morning”), and trending audio to make pieces feel current. I’d spotlight the artist’s perspective through mini-interviews, voiceovers, or captions that explain the “why” behind each piece. I’d also encourage followers to share how the art makes them feel or where they’d hang it, turning passive viewers into active participants in the story.

Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you've managed in the past?
I managed the documentary With This Light, which tells the story of Sister María Rosa’s life and impact. I led social media efforts to promote screenings and raise awareness, using Instagram and TikTok to create visually compelling, mission-driven content. I leveraged short video clips, emotional storytelling, and quote graphics to highlight the film’s themes. We saw strong engagement around personal stories and behind-the-scenes posts, and successfully drove attendance to screenings and increased follower growth through consistent, purpose-driven content.

How do you stay updated with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes?
I stay updated with social media trends and algorithm changes by following industry news through platforms like Social Media Today, Later, and Creator Insider. I also monitor trending sounds and formats directly on TikTok and Instagram daily. Engaging in creator communities, newsletters, and experimenting with content myself helps me stay ahead and adapt strategies quickly.
