How would you engage with the crowd?
As a cheerleader, you learn the art of live performance, mot importantly the art of engaging with a crowd. In highly populated spaces, it's important to make eye contact with individuals within the crowd and build small connections with them either through jokes or compliments. Making those personal connections and not being afraid to speak to people individually is what makes you stand out within that persons mind and they have a positive memory from their experience.

Have you represented a brand at a live event before?
Yes! I had the privilege of representing an emerging Black designer at a local fashion show event. I acted as a representative of the brand and showcased designs and other products that the designer while engaging in customer service to not just make sales but create lifelong clients.

Are you part of any clubs or organizations? if yes, which ones?
Yes, I am apart of a plethora of organizations on campus that have a wide range of students engaged within them.
I am the President of The New Magazine, a diverse fashion magazine and host bi-weekly events for all our members alongside a bi-annual debut of the magazine.
I am the Editor-in-Chief of UDress Magazine, the oldest fashion magazine on my campus with an immense presence. Our bi-annual debut has over 200 attendees each year and the magazine is coveted by all students and I have the honor of creating the next two issues.
I am the Vice President of the Club Cheer Team which gets over 100 applicants each new semester and often posts collaborations with different brands to share with other girls on our campus.
I am the President of Black Student Union and host monthly events advocating and uplifting Black student voices on my campus.
