I've participated in research in multiple avenues during my time at UCSC. I've participated in data research and manual entry of data into databases for the UCSC dining halls. I've coded every item from different food vendors for their Real Food sustainability standards according to the AASHE Stars guidelines and entered my findings into the FoodPro database for UCSC Dining to run their reports and create their purchasing plan for sustainability indexing for the following year. I've done this for about 3 years and will be continuing into my fourth year.
