What do you consider when purchasing from a new brand?
The first thing I consider is quality. What kind of material is it made of? Is it made of high-quality material? Is the material comparable to the marketing price? Another important factor is whether it is trendy or unique. As a member of Gen Z, we can either be trendsetters or trend followers. When purchasing from a new brand, I search for products that I can see myself styling with trending looks, such as New York street fashion or business casual looks. On the other hand, I find myself also reaching for products that I feel will allow me to stand out and bring my looks personality and originality. Rather than the usual Nike cap or New York Yankees baseball cap, the LOC "It's all in your head" cap is not only stylish, but it is also a statement piece.
