If you are trying to get feedback on your project from local businesses, what are some low cost ways you would use, to approach these people quickly?
1. Send personalised messages to local business, people actually love to help if we are polite and seem interested.
2. Engage on social media, show genuine interest on their social media posts to be more visible to them. Frequently commenting, engaging with their posts could help us not get ignored in their dms.
3. Attend webinars, networking events, connect with people. Find a common ground and ask if they can help you
4. Calling them. Very recently I did this thing myself where I contacted a Founder since I needed valuable insights for my project. Clearly communicating my interest and fascination with his start up and how he can help me actually worked. He was willing to help me.
4. Contacting those local business owners with whom we share a common ground. A couple of months back I needed some guidance. I contacted an alumni of my school whom I hardly knew, I approached him on Linkedin and he willingly helped me out.
5.Develop friendly relations with business people ask them to help you and in return you would help them in some task of theirs. This will not only help in the present task but will also build long term relations.
6. Emailing, This could be an effective way if I don't put subject lines that are clickbait and send them personalized messages. It's crucial to follow up.
