I am a massive fan and advocate for second hand shopping for all sorts of material goods, not limited to just clothing - but of course my love for second hand shopping started with and mainly resides in clothing. I grew up with an eBay mom who constantly found similar items or exact versions of items I wanted second hand, which translated directly into my shopping habits. I have always been the biggest advocate for Poshmark, Depop, ThredUp, eBay, etc. You name it - I've tried it. I can't remember the last time I didn't look on one of these sites FIRST for something I wanted. Beyond that, I am always looking for new thrift stores, flea markets, etc. to find unique preloved items, whether it is a new shirt or a set of dishware. I have even gone so far as to begin building a TikTok platform centered around sharing my fashion finds on second hand platforms like Depop, The Real Real, Poshmark, and more. I cannot wait to explore Nuw now that I have heard of it and would love to support the brand through product testing and feedback, as I consider myself very well versed in these kinds of apps and the desired user experience.
