What excites you about this internship at Robyn AI?

What excites me most about the internship at Robyn AI is the opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology that’s at the intersection of artificial intelligence and emotional intelligence. The idea of Robyn being the first emotionally intelligent AI is fascinating because it represents a huge leap forward in how machines can understand and respond to human emotions, which has vast potential for fields like healthcare, mental health, and user experience. I'm particularly excited about the possibility of applying my background in public health and data analysis to help refine Robyn’s capabilities, especially in improving emotional well-being and creating more personalized, compassionate AI interactions.

What are 2 consumer apps you love and why do you think they’ve gone viral or built strong user habits?

Flo and MyFitnessPal are two consumer apps that have successfully built strong user habits through their personalized, accessible, and empowering features. Flo allows users to track their menstrual cycles, ovulation, and health symptoms, providing personalized insights backed by medical information. Its focus on privacy, ease of use, and creating a supportive community has made it a go-to for reproductive health management. MyFitnessPal, on the other hand, tracks nutrition, exercise, and other health metrics, offering a comprehensive tool for overall wellness. The app’s integration with wearables, gamified tracking, and social features help users stay engaged, encouraging long-term, sustainable health habits. Both apps have gone viral by offering practical, data-driven tools that make managing health easier and more approachable.
