how do you balance being proactive with being reactive? Can you give an example of a time when you maintained your focus on planning and execution, even when things were moving quickly around you?
A time when I was able to maintain my focus on planning and execution, even when things were moving quickly around me, was this summer, when I was an intern with the PR team at MAC Cosmetics. I was given a summer-long project to work on, along with my daily intern tasks. I knew that I would be presenting this project to my whole team, and I wanted to really impress them. So, I worked on creating my project and really formulating my ideas a little bit everyday, along with completing my daily intern tasks. This allowed me to come prepared for my presentation, instead of just working on it at the end of my internship right before I was done.

How do you approach organizing and scheduling content across multiple social media platforms? What tools or strategies do you use to stay organized and ensure everything is on track?
In the past, I have utilized apps/platforms like Trello and Slack to allow me and the people I was working with stay organized with our content. I like to have a list for each platform, and be able to input the content for each one under their list. It is helpful to do this in a way that you can see each platform next to each other, so you can compare the date, timing, and content, of each platform, to ensure that there isn't too much overlap.

Can you describe a time when you had to manage multiple projects or deadlines at once? How did you prioritize and ensure that everything was completed on time?
As a student at the University of Michigan, I am often tasked with having to manage multiple projects or deadlines at once. More specifically, last year, I was tasked with managing my four classes and their assignments, searching for and interviewing for a summer internship, attending my extracurricular club meetings and completing tasks for them, and handling all of the requirements and steps needed before studying abroad the next semester. To prioritize and ensure that everything was completed on time, I made sure that I knew exactly everything I had to complete weekly. I would write out each of my class and club assignments, organizing them by class and due date, and crossing them off as I completed them. In terms of my internship search, once I had scheduled an interview, I knew that I would have to add time into my day to prepare for the interview. To do this, I completed many of my assignments ahead of time. Since my study abroad tasks were lighter and took less time, I was able to complete these in between classes and my other assignments. Staying organized and using detailed lists allows me to thrive in a busy or overwhelming environment like this one.
