What brands are doing social really well right now, and why?

Honestly, brands are finally figuring out that we don't want to be "marketed" to. In 2026, the ones doing it best are the ones that actually feel like people. SSENSE: They’re basically just a high-fashion mood board. They don't even push products that hard; they just post stuff that looks cool, and it makes you want to be part of that "vibe."Rhode: Hailey Bieber’s team is genius at "aesthetic world-building." They don't just sell lip tint; they sell an entire "strawberry girl" lifestyle. Half their feed is just reposting regular people using the stuff, which makes it feel way more real. Chipotle: They’re great because they actually listen. If a hack goes viral on TikTok, they’ll literally put it on the menu the next week. It makes you feel like you're actually part of the brand. Duolingo: Everyone knows the owl is unhinged. They stopped trying to be professional and just leaned into being a meme, and it works because it’s actually funny, not "cringe corporate" funny. Dove: They’re winning the "realness" game right now. They’ve been calling out how fake AI-generated beauty standards are, which hits home because we’re all kind of tired of seeing perfect, computer-generated faces everywhere. Basically: The winners are the ones who treat social media like a group chat or a search engine, not a digital billboard. They’re either being super helpful, super aesthetic, or just chaotic enough to stay interesting.

what separates creative that gets views from creative that drive sales?

Basically, views are for attention, but sales are for intent.Creative for Views is all about the hook. It’s meant to stop the scroll using humor, shock value, or a trending sound. It’s broad and entertaining, but people usually forget the brand five seconds after they swipe away.Creative for Sales is about the solution. It’s much more specific. Instead of just being "cool," it shows exactly how a product works or how it fits into your life. It moves people from "That’s a funny video" to "I actually need that right now."The big difference: Viral videos make you the audience, but sales videos make you the customer. One gets a "like," the other gets a "buy."
