One lesson of life that has helped me as a teen has been to persevere. I was taught at a young age to embrace failure, because it shows that you are trying. Understanding that life is not going to be a series of perfect moments and that I’m not going to excel at everything has catapulted me into living life successfully. Being apart of this opportunity, I feel like I would learn a great deal about collaboration. One of my main goals in life is to be able to work with various people in different avenues of my life. Whether that is artistically, participating in a showcase, or a focus group for a product, I want to be amongst people who want to work together for a common goal. I am excited for the forthcoming opportunity.
