Do you have previous product development, Research & Development or internships in beauty before? If so, please list.
While I haven’t held a formal product development or R&D internship in the beauty industry yet, I do have relevant experience through my work in content creation, market research, and consumer trend analysis. I’ve spent significant time studying ingredient trends, comparing product formulas, and understanding what drives consumer interest through social media insights and competitive research. I’ve also worked hands-on with a wide range of beauty products while creating content, which has helped me develop a strong awareness of texture, performance, user experience, and the elements that make a product successful. I’m excited to apply that foundation in a more technical, development-focused setting.

What products do you think are disrupting beauty?
I think the most disruptive products in beauty right now are the ones that blend science-backed performance with clean, skin-first formulas. Hybrid makeup-skincare products—like serum foundations, peptide-infused primers, and barrier-repair tinted moisturizers—are completely shifting expectations by offering both instant results and long-term benefits. Another major disruptor is multi-use, minimalist products that simplify routines while still delivering high-impact results, especially among Gen Z who prefer efficient, intentional beauty. Innovations in sustainable packaging and refillable formats are also transforming the industry by proving that high performance and eco-conscious design can coexist. Overall, the products winning right now are the ones that meet consumers’ desire for authenticity, effectiveness, and simplicity all at once.

What's a college holiday moment that you're excited for?
One college holiday moment I’m especially excited for is the mix of cozy winter vibes and end-of-semester celebrations—finally finishing finals, decorating with friends, and getting ready for holiday events on campus. There’s something fun about going from long study days to getting dressed up for winter parties, gift exchanges, and photos with roommates before everyone heads home. Those little in-between moments—hot chocolate runs, getting ready together, and feeling that holiday energy start to build—are the ones I look forward to the most.
