Can you share an example of a successful brand introduction you have conducted in the past?
As the Apparel Chair for my sorority, one of my main responsibilities was sourcing and introducing new brands to the chapter for custom merchandise. One successful brand introduction I led involved identifying a company that offered high-quality, customizable items with a quick turnaround time—something that had been a challenge with previous vendors. I communicated directly with the company to understand their product offerings, pricing, and design capabilities, and then presented their options to our chapter in a clear and visually appealing way. After distributing the merchandise and sharing information about the brand with our members, I collected feedback to assess how well the products were received. The response was overwhelmingly positive—members specifically commented on the comfort, fit, and uniqueness of the items. Based on that feedback, we continued working with that company for future orders, making it one of our go-to vendors for the rest of the year. It was a great example of how strong communication, product knowledge, and listening to your audience can lead to a successful brand introduction.

How do you approach engaging with shoppers in a demo setting?
When engaging with shoppers in a demo setting, I focus on creating a welcoming and informative experience that feels natural rather than pushy. I start by observing body language and waiting for an appropriate moment to make eye contact and greet them with a friendly, approachable tone. I briefly introduce the product and ask an open-ended question to gauge their interest or needs — something like, ‘Have you heard of this product before?’ or ‘What do you usually look for in a product like this?’
From there, I tailor my approach based on their responses. I highlight key benefits and demonstrate how the product works, making sure to keep it interactive so the shopper can see and often try it for themselves. I emphasize how the product can solve a problem or add value to their daily life. I also keep things engaging by sharing quick facts, promotions, or personal anecdotes if relevant.
Most importantly, I stay attentive to their reactions and give them space when needed, while remaining available to answer questions or guide them toward purchasing if they’re interested.

How long (Generally) does it take you to create a piece of video content?
I’m a very punctual and eager person, so when I film content for a planned video, as soon as I get the content filmed I edit it and post it.
