How do you stay updated on Instagram and TikTok trends?
When it comes to trends on TikTok and instagram, it is crucial to stay updated and know what is going on at all times. I make sure to check both platforms multiple times a day and see what posts are doing well. I utilize creator search insights, as well as seeing what videos pop up on my for you page. After this, I typically figure out how to hop on the trend while still making it authentic to my own content and style. I organize my video ideas into a folder and even plan out potential video trends in my notes.

What attracts you to influencer and social media marketing?
Influencer and social media has always been something of interest ever since i was in fifth grade. I am now a sophomore attending Syracuse University as a marketing major and currently hold the position as Director of Social Media for my sorority, Delta Gamma. I wasn't fully set on marketing as my major until I started my own TikTok and Instagram accounts in 2020. I started these two accounts out of pure love for television and pop culture. I now post college lifestyle videos, clothing hauls, as well as beauty-inspired posts. What I love most about influencer and social media marketing is being able to express myself fully. I feel comfortable behind the screen and am grateful to share my passions with the world. I also enjoy seeing others pursue their interests and connecting with influencers/brands with different values! I truly love being able to not only market myself and grow my own social media accounts, but marketing brands and growing those strong connections with the brands I look up to :)
