How would you approach building relationships with potential business partners?

First off, I really dig into why a partnership makes sense for us. What are we trying to achieve? Then, I put on my detective hat and research potential partners thoroughly. This means going beyond their website to really understand their world—their goals, their challenges, and what makes them tick. I'm looking for that sweet spot where our strengths perfectly complement theirs, and where our company cultures might just click.

When it's time to reach out, I make sure it's personal, not just a generic message. I want them to see I've done my homework and that I genuinely believe we can bring something unique to their table. It's about showing how we can solve a problem or open up an opportunity for them, not just for us. And when we talk, I make sure to listen far more than I speak. I want to truly grasp their needs and what they're hoping to achieve. That's how real trust starts to build.

Once we've connected, it's all about keeping things open, honest, and consistent. If I say I'll do something, I do it. That reliability is huge for building trust. I'd also look for ways to offer value upfront, even before there's a formal agreement, just to show we're invested. And as we move forward, we'd regularly check in, tackle any bumps in the road together, and definitely celebrate our wins.
