How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?

When things are moving quickly, I rely on a mix of digital tools and structured routines to stay on top of tasks and deadlines. I typically use Google Calendar to block time for specific priorities and set reminders for key follow-ups. For task management, I like to use a running checklist in Google Docs or Notes, often categorized by urgency or project type, which helps me stay focused and flexible throughout the day. In fast-paced roles—like outreach coordination or sales support—I’ve found that consistent tracking and brief daily reviews help me catch missed items and adjust quickly. Whether I’m following up with a contact, preparing for a meeting, or juggling multiple projects, having a clear system and visual overview helps me stay organized and proactive, even when things get busy.

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.

During my time as a volleyball team leader, I noticed our team was struggling with motivation and cohesion, as it felt like we were showing up physically, but not mentally. To address this, I proposed and created a team vision board that captured our shared goals, values, and competitive mindset for the season. We included everything from inspirational quotes to images that represented our desired team culture and achievements. We brought this vision board to every game and practice, and it quickly became a visual anchor that reminded us of our purpose and commitment to each other. As a result, team engagement noticeably improved, we communicated more effectively, played with greater intensity, and ultimately won a higher percentage of our games, including key tournaments. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of creative, values-driven solutions to bring people together and drive real results — something I aim to bring into every team or organization I’m a part of.

What excites you about this role and working with JOVA?

I’m excited about the opportunity to join JOVA because it aligns closely with my interests in brand development, sales strategy, and the wellness industry. This role offers the kind of hands-on, high impact experience I’ve been seeking, where I can support outreach efforts, streamline operations, and contribute to meaningful growth at a company that’s early in its journey. My background in client communication, outreach, and organizational support has prepared me to thrive in fast-paced environments where adaptability and attention to detail are key. I’m particularly motivated by the chance to work directly with the founder, contribute to real business outcomes, and build foundational skills that support both JOVA’s retail expansion and my own professional development.
