During our Health Information System (Laboratory) subject, I created a Quality Assurance report while testing a laboratory information system used for patient records and test results. While testing the patient registration and results module, I noticed that after entering patient information and saving the record, the system sometimes failed to display the newly added patient in the search list. To document this, I created a QA report that included the module tested (Patient Registration), device/browser used, and the exact steps to reproduce the issue. I also listed the expected result (patient record should appear in the database immediately) and the actual result (record did not appear unless the page was refreshed). I attached screenshots showing the completed form and the missing record in the search results. I also noted the frequency of the bug and its possible impact on workflow, since it could cause confusion or duplicate entries. This helped make the issue clear and easier for the developer to review and resolve.

I approach identifying bugs by carefully testing each feature and checking if it works well as intended from a user's perspective. I pay attention to small details, such as errors in functionality, layout, or content, and try different scenarios to see if issues appear. When documenting bugs, I make sure to describe them clearly and concisely, including where the issue occurs, the steps to reproduce it, and the expected versus actual results. I also include screenshots or screen recordings when needed so the team can easily understand and resolve the problem.

To stay on top of digital content trends, I regularly explore social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to see what type of content is currently popular and engaging. I also follow content creators and educational pages to observe what works well for different audiences. Aside from that, I read online articles and watch informative videos to stay updated on new ideas, online behavior, and current digital trends.
