Interview Questions
Couture
Sales Intern for High Quality Merch Brand

Describe a time you successfully followed up to close a sale.
I recently helped a family friend sell their homemade snacks online. A potential bulk customer stopped replying after seeing the price list. I followed up by sharing a few customer reviews and a 'first-time buyer' discount. By addressing the value rather than just asking for the money, I made them feel comfortable enough to place an order. It showed me that follow-ups should add value, not just be a reminder.

Sales Intern for High Quality Merch Brand

How would you convince a client to choose our merch brand over competitors?
Beyond just aesthetics, I would highlight the narrative behind the brand. I'd show the client that choosing us means their brand becomes part of a lifestyle, backed by high-quality production that people actually want to wear, not just keep in a drawer."To convince a client, I would focus on three key pillars.
Authenticity & Trust, Gen Z Cultural Relevance: I would highlight our ability to move at the speed of social trends. We don't just follow what's 'cool'-we are the demographic defining it. Choosing us ensures the merch feels 'in' rather than 'out-of-touch. I'd emphasize that choosing our brand supports the next generation of creators. It's a 'brand with a mission' story that resonates deeply with modern consumers who value social impact
